Say Yes!

As we’ve traveled to fairs, festivals, and destinations from Alaska to Nova Scotia—giving away hundreds of carnival prizes and now hiding cruise tokens—we’ve had the joy of witnessing smiles light up the faces of children and parents alike. Dozens upon dozens of parents have said “yes!” to the prizes we've offered, and those simple gifts became their children’s delight for the day—completely free, with no strings attached.

But there’s an even greater gift than a stuffed animal or a surprise token.

Jesus offers the ultimate gift—eternal life—and it’s absolutely free. You don’t have to earn it by being good, checking boxes, or going through religious rituals. It’s a gift you simply receive.

At our church, we call it saying “YES!” to Jesus.

That “yes” can change your life forever. God welcomes your questions, your doubts, and your journey. His desire is to begin a relationship with you through His Son. Trusting Jesus to lead your life is the most important decision you’ll ever make.

Our pastor, Tom Lundeen at Riverside Church in Big Lake, explains it best. Here's how he puts it:

WHAT'S MY NEXT STEP?

If you would like to say 'YES!' to Jesus, we invite you to let us know though our Contact form.  We'll put you in touch with those who'd love to help and pray with and for you.  They will help by also sending you what they call a 'YES!' packet below which further explains your decision to follow Jesus.

Through it all, through the acts of kindness we do or you do, this is ultimately our purpose.  Being salt and light in our world is only done through and for Jesus because He is the Light of the World.

Jesus said:  "“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."

Note:  The We Heart Kindness website is not connected to Riverside Church or managed by the church in any way.  We use the video to help you understand what saying "Yes" means.  There are many wonderful churches in your area.  Seek one out that believes and teaches the Bible as it's written.
